ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB INVITED AT DJEUGA PALACE FOR A SEMINAR

After the competition organised by the group HOPIT (Help of Population in Transition) aimed at sensitizing youths against air pollution, a competition where members of the environmental club of St. Benedict took the 1st position, the group HOPIT invited these members once more, for a seminar at Djeuga Palace, this Saturday 11th January 2025. This seminar was aimed at finding possible solutions to climate change, malnutrition and promoting physical activity. After the arrival of different schools at 8 AM, the activities proper started at 9 AM with a welcoming word from Dr. Assah, after which the students were divided into different groups where they had to work as a team, share ideas and find solutions to the different problems and situations given. This day was concluded with a buffet offered by the group HOPIT to the student now known as their ambassadors. From this seminar, we learned that itis important to practice physical activity, maintain a healthy diet, and put it in much effort by sensitizing the population to fight against climate change.
